Albums

Okay guys so Sombr just released his album "I barely know her". Well, it seems to me like he really does know her and really does dare I say miss her. Lol. It is such a great album and I have been listening to it on loop throughout my journey. I was already familiar with the two singles that were released prior to the album "Undressed" and "Back to friends". Nice to hear those but the new songs were just exciting. My new favorites on the album I would say are "canal street" and "we never dated". I recommend a listen and want to know what your favorite was off the album.

Moving on to my other favorite listens during my 50 hour drive. Renee Rapp's new album "Bite Me". I have been listening to it for a few weeks now but it was on repeat during the long stretches of farm lands through North Dakota. I recently saw a review of Renee's album and they didn't like it. But obviously they lost the plot because this album is so fun and uniquely lesbian. Over the last month my favorites on the album have changed a bit but right now "Good Girl" and "Why is She Still Here?" and "I Can't Have You Around Me Anymore" are really doing it for me.

I would give you a more in depth reason for why I enjoy these pieces but music is subjective so enjoy the listen and figure out what you think. As someone who listens to a lot of music I think that to say any piece of music is bad is incorrect. I think it's important to understand that some music doesn't connect to you. The space is super opinionated and I just do not agree with the judgement of artists. If you don't like someone's art is means it's not for you.
